The reflexion of the Bordeaux stone facades under Azur blues skies and the crimson of the neighbouring vineyards is where Terre et Lumière® originates. It is the backdrop that has inspired our colours, our natural ethos, our history and our culture.

How we do it naturally

Lime range paint

Our natural paint offers high environmental performance. Indoor and outdoor, natural lime paint allows the surface to breathe, preserving good air quality and minimizing the risk of allergies.

Plant based paints

The advantage of plant-based paint lies in its lower environmental impact. It is made from a unique blend composed purely of plant-derived ingredients. Paint...and breathe easy !

Milk based paints

100% natural, milk based paints features extreme elasticity, making its application easy and perfectly suited to create patina effects. Designed exclusively for indoor use, it is a safe choice for children's room.

Natural organic pigments

Colours are sourced from spices or tinctorial plants (madder lake, dragon’s blood) along with other natural pigments (sepia, cochineal, murex, etc.).

Natural inorganic pigments

Colouring earths, non-hydrocarbonated, of mineral origin. Before being used, these pigments are sorted, crushed, washed and pulverised.

Artificial inorganic pigments

Ultramarine blue, cobalt and cadmium pigments, titanium dioxide, synthetic iron oxides, mother-of-pearl pigments, etc. A whole range to explore…

The definitive colour and opacity are revealed AFTER the paint has completely dried. So watch the magic unfold.

This process is the opposite of slurp and bang that result in toxic and unbreathable walls.

It is gentle, requires patience and that famous “savoir-faire”.

When it comes to colour we are BESPOKE. Terre et Lumière® paint and finishings come untinted with pigments separate to make up the chosen colour.

You can test out and make changes to lighten, darken create that je ne sais quoi before arriving at your perfect colour.

We are happy to introduce this versatile and refined way of working with natural paint and colours to others.

We are actively seeking interior designers, architects, those who value beauty, luxury, creativity in natural paint.
